Bean first began as a way to offload pre-loved clothes that were quickly accumulating in my small University campus bedroom in Wollongong, NSW. as my love for op shopping grew, i quickly realised the high demand for unique pieces that can’t be bought anywhere else. on top of this, i started to learn about the damaging and unethical practices undertaken by the fast fashion industry. this only propelled me to challenge the norm and promote a more sustainable fashion life cycle. 

after four years of running Bean, both my mum and dad have come on board the team. together, we source preloved clothing and accessories from around the world and give them new life. every piece purchased is packed with care before being sent off to their new home. we continue to strive towards making it as easy and pleasant as possible to shop sustainably.
